Q. Why do I need a confidential shredding service?

Q. Why can't I just throw my confidential documents in the waste bin?

Apart from the fact that it is illegal and obviously not very secure, that paper can't be recycled and it ends up just going to landfill. Using Clayeden’s Data Destruction service is so simple and so cost effective you can have the peace of mind that all of your confidential documents have been completely shredded either on-site or off-site and then to make things even better we ensure that all of the paper is recycled.

Q. How does the Clayeden – Data Destruction for Confidentiality service actually work?

It could not be simpler. We supply you either with sacks, or lockable containers for the safe storage of your confidential documents (you can use your own). When you want to use our service you simply contact the Clayeden office to arrange a collection. Our security vetted staff and trackered vehicle will then collect from you all of your confidential documents leaving you with a waste transfer note to show we are licensed to collect the material, which we then destroy by shredding.

Q. How can I be sure that my confidential documents have been securely destroyed?

Clayeden are specialists in Security Shredding, for other companies it is a sideline. All staff are security vetted to BS7858 standards, and will turn up uniformed and with ID you can request to see. Once Clayeden has completed the shredding service for you we then provide you with a 'Certificate of Destruction' which confirms that we have totally destroyed by shredding your confidential documents. If you wish we can arrange for you to actually watch your documents being destroyed either in person or by a 3G telephone link up.
